Special Needs Program for University of Phoenix Members

The Special Needs Program offers additional support for eligible University of Phoenix members who may need help accessing their dental benefits due to physical, emotional, behavioral or learning challenges. The program is designed to support care coordination and help members make the most of their covered dental benefits.

How the program supports members

Eligible members receive help:

• Connecting with dentists experienced in caring for individuals with special needs
• Coordinating care and accommodations within the scope of their dental benefits

Claims for members receiving special accommodation should include code D9997 to avoid processing delays.
